The red-fronted barbet is a northeast African endemic, widespread in dry bush and woodland. Note the flank spots. The left lower photo was taken in Engikaret (6-08); the right lower, in the Serengeti(10-10); the others, in Orkesumet (10-06). Click the photo above to see nine enlargements.
