The swallow-tailed beeeater is found in drier forested areas of southern and central Tanzania, usually in pairs or small groups, hunting from high perches. The top and right 2nd row photos were taken in Ruaha (8-18), courtesy of Friedemann Vetter. The 3rd row photos were also taken in Ruaha (11-14), courtesy of Ethan Kinsey. The others were in Katavi and at the Ruvuma River (5-09).
