The swallow-tailed beeeater is found in drier forested areas of southern and central Tanzania, usually in pairs or small groups, hunting from high perches. The top and right 3nd row photos were taken in Ruaha (11-14), courtesy of Ethan Kinsey. The 2nd row bird was in Ruaha (8-13). The others were in Katavi (3rd row left and bottom, 7-06) and at the Ruvuma River (5-09).
