The male (lower four photos) black cuckooshrike has an orange gape and may or may not show a yellow shoulder patch. The right 3rd row moulting immature was in Mkomazi (2-24), courtesy of Kim Axmann. The other photos were taken in Olasiti, TGT-Arusha and Emayani. Click photo above to see 11 enlargements including an immature female.
