The common greenshank is a palearctic migrant, East African birds coming from east and central Russia. Note the the long, slightly upturned bill and the green legs. The upper photo shows a common greenshank on the left and a marsh sandpiper. The other photos were taken in Katavi NP, Tarangire NP, and at Lake Burunge. The video is from Lake Burunge.
