The flappet lark is a small (14 cm) grassland lark, rufous brown above and below, and with buff-coloured outer tail feathers. The upper two photos were taken at the Mara River (1-14), courtesy of Paul Oliver. The biddle bird was seen on the Msumbugwe savanna (8-09). The bird above was seen in Ngorongoro Crater (1-01); click the photo to see more.
