The African silverbill is a waxbill with a distinctive silver-coloured bill. The photo of the pair was taken at Loikisale (3-12), courtesy of Paul Oliver. The 2nd row pair was seen in Mkomazi (2-17), courtesy of Stuart Webb; the 3rd row photo was taken in Engikaret (12-08). The left 4th row bird was seen at Lake Natron (1-16). The 6th row photos were taken at Lokii-Simanjiro (4-21), courtesy of Amos Pampy Hardecker. The other photos were taken in Olasiti (4-06) and at Lake Natron (3-23).
