The rufous sparrow, also called the Kenya rufous sparrow, is an East African endemic. Thepair was in Orkesumet (2-12). The left 2nd row bird was seen on the Mbulu Plateau (1-08); the right 2nd row and both 3rd row birds, Engikaret (8-08); right lower, Serengeti (3-09), courtesy of Mladen Mates; and the left lower female, Ngorongoro (1-07): click it to see more including a juvenile.
