The rufous sparrow, also called the Kenya rufous sparrow, is an East African endemic. The pair was in Orkesumet (2-12); the 2nd row photo, Engusero Sambu-Loliondo (5-20). The left 3rd row bird was seen on the Mbulu Plateau (1-08); the right 3rd row and both 3rd row birds, Engikaret (8-08); right lower, Serengeti (3-09), courtesy of Mladen Mates; and the left lower female, Ngorongoro (1-07): click it to see more including a chick in nest and juveniles.
