Hunter's sunbird is an East African endemic generally found in lower, dryer areas with acacias. The iridescent malar stripe can be difficult to see, as can the iridescent shoulder patch. The right upper female was in the Pugu Hills (10-23), courtesy of Isaac Kilusu. The left 4th row bird was seen in Same (4-19), courtesy of Sadik Kassam.
