The lesser crested tern is common along the coast from November through April. Some may be seen throughout the year. The orange bill and black cap identify the breeding adult. The upper panorama was taken at Pembe Abwe. The other photos were taken on Maziwe Island. Click the photo above to see twenty enlargements.
