The black-headed apalis is a southeast African endemic. The upper four images are courtesy of Dr. Louis A. Hansen who comments: adult; subspecies: uncertain; Udzungwa Mountains, July & August 2007. The lower bird was seen in Arusha NP in July 2012. Note the particularly long tail.
