The adult red-billed buffalo-weaver scratched a small depression in the ground and then sunbathed for a few minutes in the depression. It then flew to a nearby branch and a juvenile took its place in the depression (#s 1 - 4 in slideshow). The video shows a male building a nest (Tarangire, 5-14) with twigs from an older nest.
