The Somali bunting is an east African endemic. The upper two birds (Kudu Hills Lodge-Moshi, 2-18) are courtesy of Michael Harris. Both 3rd row birds were seen at Nyumba ya Mungu, courtesy of Per Holmen; the right 3rd row photo was taken on the Asogati Plain (1-13). The netted bird was on the Maasai Steppe (4-09), courtesy of Paul Oliver; the 6th row photos, left (Mkomazi, 2-20) & Engikaret (1-13) and the bottom bird, in the So.
