The rufous chatterer is a northeast African endemic. The uniform red-cinnamon underparts are diagnostic. The pair was seen at Speke's Bay (3-03), courtesy of Paul Oliver. The immature (2nd row, right) was seen in Yaida Valley (1-09). The 3rd row images were taken in the Serengeti (2-08), courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst.
