The common chiffchaff is a palearctic migrant in Tanzania from October to April. Although usually considered a warbler of forest and forest edge at higher elevations, this bird was photographed in a garden in Olasiti (1400 m). Two recordings of chiffchaff song, type 2, courtesy of Dr. Louis A. Hansen, are available: click links to right.
