The eastern imperial eagle is a rare palearctic migrant to northern Tanzania from southeastern Europe through central Asia. The global population is small and declining and is IUCN Red Listed as vulnerable. These photos of a subadult were taken in the Enduimet WMA (12-16), courtesy of Donyo Gabriel.
