The chestnut-fronted helmet-shrike is locally common, usually in groups, sometimes mixed flocks, in coastal forest canopy and woodland. This upper photographs were taken in the Amani NR (12-14) and the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest-Kenya (8-17), both courtesy of Per Holmen. The lower photos were taken at Msumbugwe (left, 12-13) and Amani (12-13).
