The yellow-throated longclaw has a broad black breast band with black streaks on the sides of the breasts; sexes are alike. The flight photo (Grumeti-Serengeti, 6-16) and the right lower photo (Mara River, 3-07) are courtesy of Paul Oliver. The left 2nd row adult was in Burigi-Chato NP (9-21). The right 2nd row juvenile was seen at Pembe Abwe (12-13); the right 3rd row bird, in Ngorongoro Crater (7-14). The 4th row photos were taken in the Serengeti (left, 4-19), courtesy of Sadik Kassam, and Ushongo (6-08).
