The spotted palm-thrush is a northeast African endemic, found in coastal thickets and drier country to the west as far as Lake Victoria. The upper pair was in Kisongo (7-15), courtesy of Paul Oliver; the left 2nd row (Mkomazi, 6-17), courtesy Per Holmen. The right 4th row photo is courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst.
