The spotted palm-thrush is a northeast African endemic, found in coastal thickets and drier country to the west as far as Lake Victoria. The upper pair was in Kisongo (7-15), courtesy of Paul Oliver; the left 2nd row (Mkomazi, 6-17), courtesy Per Holmen. The juvenile was seen at Lake Chala (right 4th row, 4-12), courtesy of Lyn Waltenberg. The other photos were taken in Tarangire.
