The cardinal quelea is seasonally common after rains in north and central Tanzania (see maps). The upper two photos were taken in Ruaha (1-12), courtesy of Stuart Webb. The right lower photo was taken in Tarangire (3-12), courtesy of Colin Beale. The other photos were also taken in Tarangire (4-04) at the end of the long rains.
