The snowy-crowned robin-chat is found in northwestern Tanzania in thickets and scrub, usually feeding on the ground. The top bird was seen in Kibungo (Rwanda, 4-10), courtesy of Jason Anderson. The bottom photos were taken in the Kakamega Forest (9-16). The other photos were taken in the Entebbe botanical garden (2-10), courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst. Note the white head stripe, black cheek and slate-blue edging to the wing feathers.
