These common scimitarbills were photographed in Simanjiro, Suledo Forest, Emayani and Pembe Abwe. It differs from the Abyssinian scimitarbill by being larger, having a shorter black bill, black legs and a white wing patch. Click the photo above to see 6 enlargements.
