Mainly a coastal lowland species, the bearded scrub-robin is found in central, eastern and southern Tanzania. The upper bird was seen at Darakuta Ranch (11-11); the second row (Mbuyuni 12-17) and the bottom right (Fish Eagle Point, 7-20) birds are courtesy of Per Holmen; the 3rd row ssp. greenwayi, was seen on Zanzibar, courtesy of Martijn Blok; it differs from the nominate by having a greyer back. The other three photos were taken in the Kiru Valley (10-09).
