White-browed Sparrow-weaver

The white-browed sparrow-weavers photographed in Mikumi and Selous are race pectoralis, showing small black marks across the breast. The birds seen on the Asogati Plain are race melanorhynchus which lacks the small breast marks but does show a larger single dark mark at each side of the upper breast.
