The upper black stork was seen in Tarangire (11-14), the second row, Arusha NP (11-07) and the 3rd row bird, in Tarangire NP (11-07). The 4th row photos were taken in Tarangire (11-08) and the immature in the bottom row was also seen in Tarangire (2-10). It is a solitary and uncommon palearctic migrant, though birds in southern Tanzania may be from southern Africa.
