Yellow-billed storks are seen throughout Tanzania on fresh and alkaline waters including seasonal ponds, often in large flocks. Note the black tail which easily distinguishes it from the white stork in flight. The upper photo was taken in the Serengeti (10-15), courtesy of Michael Oates. The nest photos were taken at Mto wa Mbu (1-08); the flight photos, at Lake Burunge (11-07); the others, at Lakes Manyara and Eyasi. Click the video to watch feeding.
