The banded green sunbird is a northeast African endemic. The male has a narrow red breast band and grey throat; also note the short bill. The top male was photographed at Amani NR (12-13); the 2nd row female, in the Udzungwa Mts (7-07), courtesy of Dr. Louis A. Hansen.
