The lesser striped swallow is commonly seen throughout the country. The left 2nd row photo of a bird gathering nest material was taken in Tarangire (2-08), courtesy of Steve Dolberg. The right 2nd row bird was also seen in Tarangire (2-08), courtesy of Fain Zimmerman. The immature was seen at Kia Lodge (5-04). The other adults were seen in Tarangire, Mikumi and the Okavango delta (Botswana). Slideshow images 18 - 21 show a lesser striped swallow gathering mud for a nest.
