The mottled swift is a large brown swift with mottled underparts and a pale white throat. The left upper photo (Tarangire, 8-11) is courtesy of Silas Olofson; the right upper (Lake Jipe, 6-17) is courtesy of Riaan Marais. The right lower photo was taken in Mikumi NP (7-14), courtesy of Per Holmen. The other birds were photographed in Tarangire NP (6-12) from the terrace of the Tarangire Safari Lodge flying with alpine, nyanza, black and little swifts.
