Kurrichane Thrush
Turdus libonyanus

The upper and left lower adult kurrichane thrushes were seen at Emayani Beach Lodge (6-08).The right lower bird was seen in Mikumi NP (1-16), courtesy of Per Holmen. The bird on the palm leaf was gleaning from the surface of the leaf and defending his territory from several other species. Click the photo above to see 8 enlargements.
