The lesser swamp warbler is a large (14-16 cm) reed-warbler with a long bill, black legs and large feet. It is larger than the similar African reed-warbler (12-13 cm) which has smaller feet. The immature (right upper) was in Olasiti, 11-08. The adults were seen in Ngorongoro crater (3rd & 4th rows,10-10), Tlawi (2nd row, 7-08). Click the photo above to see eight enlargements.
