The willow warbler is a palearctic migrant found throughout subsaharan Africa. The left lower photo is ssp. acredula, photographed in Lukuba (9-10), courtesy of Valéry Schollaert. The four upper photos are ssp. yakutensis, seen in Pembe Abwe (4-10). The right lower bird was seen in the Nou Forest (1-09); click it to see 13 enlargements.
