Holub's golden weaver is a highland bird, usually seen near wetlands. It builds a messy nest that often overhangs water as in the right 2nd row photo, taken in Ruaha (4-09). The upper bird was at Gibb's Farm (1-14); the middle, at Mwiba (3-18). The nest was in Ruaha (4-09); the left lower photo, at Olasiti (8-10); click it to see more.
