The rufous-tailed weaver is a northern Tanzanian endemic. The mating pair was seen in the Serengeti (4-19), courtesy of Sadik Kassam. The juveniles were seen at Naabi Gate and in Ngorongoro Crater, courtesy of Paul Oliver. The adults were seen in the Serengeti, Tarangire, Oljoro and Yaida Valley.
