The male eastern yellow-billed hornbill has a patch of purple skin on the neck, absent in the female. It is endemic to East Africa. The pair was seen in Mkomazi NP (7-21), courtesy of Kim Axmann. The middle two photos were also taken in Mkomazi NP (7-08); the lower two, in Samburu NP (Kenya, 11-96). Click the photo above to see 10 enlargements.
