The pallid harrier, a palearctic migrant, is the smallest of the harriers in Tanzania (40-48 cm). The upper bird was seen in Ngorongoro Crater (1-18); the 2nd row bird in flight, at Seronera (11-11), courtesy of Doug McLennan; the 3rd row, Tarangire (11-22), courtesy Per Holmen.
