The common moorhen is common on permanent waters throughout the country. The nest was photographed at TPC near Moshi (6-15), courtesy of Christine Baissac. The immature (left 2nd row) was seen in Tarangire (7-10). The lower two photos were taken in the Serengeti (2-08), courtesy of Fain Zimmerman (right) and Steve Dolberg.
