Abbott's starling is endemic to East Africa. It is uncommon in highland forests in north central Tanzania and central Kenya. The upper three photos were taken in Arusha NP. The male (left upper) was seen in July 2009; the female (right upper) and the pair, in April 2013, courtesy of Paul Oliver. The bottom photo was taken on Mt. Kilimanjaro at 2650 m.
