Temminck's stint is an uncommonly seen palearctic migrant. The upper 3 photos were taken in the Big Marsh at Ndutu (3-10), courtesy of Paul Oliver. The middle bird was seen in Emayani (4-06). The lower 2 photos were taken in Tarangire (11-14). Note the plain back, grey head, neck and upper breast and the yellow-green legs (see insert, lower photo). Also shown is a wood sandpiper in the 2nd row for size comparison.
