The spotted flycatcher is a palearctic migrant. The sexes are alike with a darkly streaked head and light streaking on a pale breast. The two bottom photos were taken on migration in Denmark (9-09), courtesy of Dr. Louis A. Hansen; the right upper, at Arusha NP (2-17), courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst; the others were taken at Tarangire, Oldonyo Sambu and near Pangani. Click the left lower photo to see more photos. |
