Crested Guineafowl

The crested guineafowl in the 2nd row photos were taken as eggs from a nest near the rift south of Lake Manyara by some children. They were retrieved by Mike Peterson who raised and released them in Olasiti (left: 1 month-old, 1-07; right, 4 month-old, 3-07). The family in the upper photo was seen in Udzungwa NP (1-12), courtesy of Stuart webb. The 3rd row bird was photographed in Ruaha (11-14), courtesy of Ethan Kinsey.
