The male eastern yellow-billed hornbill has a patch of purple skin on the neck, black in the female. It is endemic to East Africa. The upper pair (Tsavo West-Kenya) is courtesy of Isaac Kilusu. The 2nd row pair was seen in Mkomazi NP, courtesy of Kim Axmann. The middle two photos were also taken in Mkomazi NP; the lower two, in Samburu NP-Kenya.
