The African wattled lapwing, also called wattled plover, is the largest African lapwing. It is common in wetland margins and adjacent grasslands in western Tanzania. The 2nd row fight photo, the 3rd row pair and the chick are courtesy of Amos Pampy Hardecker. The photos were taken on Rubondo island and in Katavi NP and the Serengeti. The enlargements include chicks, a juvenile, an immature, a mating pair and flight photos.
