The slender-tailed nightjar is a northeastern Africa endemic. The top photo was taken at TGT-Arusha(9-19). The 2nd row bird was seen in Tarangire (4-16), courtesy of Riaan Marais. The bottom photo was taken in Olasiti (9-06). The slideshow photos #s 1-11 of a nesting pair of slender-tailed nightjars and their chicks were taken in a grassy field adjacent to a wooded area in Olasiti (9-06).
