The Schalow's wheatear is an east African endemic. The juvenile (left upper, Ngorongoro, 2-08) is courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst. The immature (right upper) was seen in Olasiti (1-08. The 2nd row pair was seen in Oldonyo Sambu (10-22), courtesy of Per Holmen. The males were seen at Burka Coffee Estate, Lengijavi, Olasiti and Ngorongoro Crater.
