Dodson's bulbul occurs in northeastern Africa and is rarely recorded in Tanzania. It is similar to the yellow-vented bulbul except for the the white/grey edge feathers at the posterior ear. The upper photo was taken at Segola Lodge in Kenya (1-13); the middle and lower, in Samburu NP-Kenya (8-18, 1-23), all courtesy of Per Holmen.
