The rufous chatterer is a northeast African endemic. The upper adult and immature were seen at Speke's Bay (3-13), courtesy of Paul Oliver. The immature (2nd row, right) and the adults in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rows were seen in Yaida Valley (1-09).
