The rufous chatterer is a northeast African endemic. The upper adult and immature were seen at Speke's Bay (3-13), courtesy of Paul Oliver. The immature (2nd row, right) and the adults in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rows were seen in Yaida Valley (1-09). The 5th row photos were taken in the Serengeti (2-08) and the 6th row, in Samburu (Kenya, 1-17), courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst.
