Male and female laughing doves are alike except female is slightly paler as some of our photos of pairs show. These photos were taken in Tarangire, Olasiti and Mkomazi. The photo which includes a displaying male (left 2nd row) is courtesy of Kurt Rusterholz; the display includes inflating the neck, head bobbing and cooing.
