The steppe eagle is a palearctic migrant in East Africa from October to April. The left upper photo is courtesy of Valéry Schollaert; and the left 2nd row (So. Tarangire, 11-08), courtesy of Ethan Kinsey. The flight photo was taken in Arusha NP (11-14). The other photos were of a pair in a bush adjacent to a termite mound, hopping down to the ground eating termites following a rain (Tarangire, 11-04). Click the left lower photo to see more.
