The left upper bird was photographed in Isunkaviola (Ruaha, 9-09). The right upper and 2nd row photos were taken at the Mara River (Serengeti, 3-07), courtesy of Paul Oliver. The 3rd row bird was seen west of Kahama (7-16), courtesy of Per Holmen. The 4th row photo, race citriniceps, was taken in Mikumi NP (1-16), also courtesy of Per Holmen; note the eye color variation and the bottom photo, Grumeti Reserve (7-18), courtesy Gary Douglas.
