The range of the northern black flycatcher includes north central Tanzania. Similar to the southern black flycatcher, it lacks the southern's glossy sheen. The lower two photos were taken in the Semliki Forest (Uganda, 1-10), courtesy of Karine Van der Vurst, the right upper, in the Masai Mara (9-10), courtesy of Steve Brynes; and the left upper, in the Kakamega forest (9-16).
